About kory

We didn't just see Korea.
We lived it.

Not "I saw Korea" but "I lived a day like a local." A convenience store at night, ramyeon by the Han River, an alley in the rain — the real memories of a trip live in ordinary scenes, not in landmarks. kory moves those small moments into something you can hold.

kory is a travel souvenir brand that puts the memory of a trip to Korea into things you use every day. Run by YIDING COMPANY and started in 2026. The standard we hold ourselves to is simple: not a decorative keepsake for a drawer, but something you keep using long after you go home.

Our story

Why does a souvenir always end up in a drawer?

Because it is too touristy, too dated, or simply doesn't belong in your everyday life.

kory took a different route. Something that still says "I've been to Korea" and still looks right in your room today. We don't copy tradition — we translate it into a contemporary language.

Small things, big memories

Small things,
big travel memories.

Light, useful, and worth keeping around. Everything kory makes begins from one idea — a small thing that leaves a long memory. It packs easily into a suitcase, and once you are home you reach for it every day.

The mark

The 'o' that came from a moon jar.

Moon jar
Taegeuk
kory ‘o’

The generous round of a moon jar, overlaid with the S of the Taegeuk. Where the two curves meet is kory's 'o'.

City colorsA city is never one color

Reduce a city to a single color and the object stops being true. So kory uses five colors per city — but never in equal measure, because proportion is what makes the tone of a place.

  • 70BaseThe surface you see first. It has to stay easy on the eye.
  • 20PrimaryThe color that builds form on top of the base.
  • 10AccentIt appears in the smallest amount, and it decides which city this is.
kory koreaBrand line · sunset and moon jar

Moon jar · evening sky · brass · edge of sunset · sunset light

SeoulSeoul · day and night, the grain of dancheong

Dawn navy · dancheong gold · bojagi · ginkgo leaf · spring blossom

BusanBusan · sea and sand

Daytime sea · wave · sea spray · sand · breakwater

JejuJeju · tangerine and volcanic island

Basalt · oreum · sea light · tangerine · camellia shade

Change the base and the same color reads differently. Orange on black is not the same orange as orange on warm grey — which is why the pieces from each city never look alike.
